Our
Founder
Anne Caves

Acacia Nursing Services was founded by Anne Caves, an AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with extensive experience in complex disability care, high-intensity supports and clinical risk management within the NDIS sector.

Throughout her nursing career, Anne identified a critical gap between hospital-level clinical care and community-based disability support. Many individuals living with complex disability were receiving task-based assistance without adequate clinical oversight, preventative risk planning or structured health management.

Acacia Nursing Services was established to bridge that gap.

With a strong focus on specialist assessment, continence management, neurological care and proactive complication prevention, Anne leads the organisation with a commitment to:
-
Evidence-based nursing practice
-
Robust clinical governance systems
-
Structured risk assessment and mitigation
-
High-quality NDIS reporting and funding justification
-
Safe delegation and supervision of high-intensity supports
Her leadership ensures that all services delivered by Acacia Nursing Services align with AHPRA standards, the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements, and contemporary disability nursing best practice.
Under her direction, the organisation prioritises clinical excellence, accountability, participant advocacy and long-term health stability.
Anne remains actively involved in clinical oversight, mentoring, and service development to ensure participants receive skilled, dignified and person-centred nursing care tailored to complex support needs.
